Comments: This story just drew me in, and then walloped me. I applaud a truly well written story that dealt with such sensitive subject matter; it stands as a well crafted tale that was obviously the work of incredible imagination and creativity. The Highlander universe fell short on these qualities, for the most part, due to the "powers that be" wanting the path of least resistance to lead to the most profit. This is an example of the "could have been; should have been". I am an avid fan of Highlander FanFiction, and I never hesitate to express my thanks for great efforts such as these.
